This license applies to the free tools Syntony publishes for download and
marks with this license, including Fermata, Attacca and the Control Case
Harness, together with their documentation and any updates Syntony provides
(the "Software").

1. What you may do

   Syntony grants you a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable and
   revocable license to download, install, run and copy the Software, and to
   modify it, for use by you or within your organization, including for
   commercial work.

2. What you may not do

   You may not:
   a. sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software, or charge for access to it;
   b. publish or distribute the Software, or a modified version of it, to
      anyone outside your organization. You may share a link to Syntony's
      download page instead;
   c. remove or alter any copyright, license or attribution notice in the
      Software;
   d. use the Syntony name, product names or logos to suggest that Syntony
      endorses you, your product or your results; or
   e. present results from a modified version of the Software as results
      produced by Syntony's Software.

3. Your data and outputs

   The Software runs on your own systems. You own the data you give it and
   the outputs it produces for you, such as decision logs, mapped findings and
   recalculated results. Syntony does not receive them.

4. No warranty

   The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or
   implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular
   purpose and non-infringement. The Software is a check that you run. It does
   not certify compliance, safety or security, and it does not replace your
   own controls, review or judgment.

5. Limitation of liability

   To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syntony Research LLC is not liable
   for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages,
   or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from use of the
   Software or inability to use it.

6. Ending this license

   This license ends automatically if you break any of its terms. When it
   ends, you must stop using the Software and delete your copies. Sections 3,
   4 and 5 continue after it ends.

7. Other software

   Components published under their own licenses, such as the fonts included
   with Attacca under the SIL Open Font License, remain under those licenses.
